Note no. 04 – Giving shape to an idea: the new face of Cascina Belvedì
Renovating meant giving physical form to our idea of hospitality: a project of balance and rigour, where the comfort of the new suites extends the emotion experienced at the table.
Renovating is never just a matter of walls or furnishings; it is an attempt to give physical form to an idea of hospitality. When we imagined the new rooms at Cascina Belvedì, we started with a very simple question: what would we want to find today, if we chose to stay here for the night? The answer became the driving force behind this transformation: we desired a space that reflected our taste, alongside that sense of rigour and warmth we look for in a high-end stay.
The balance between table and rest
Over the last few years, our restaurant has defined a precise identity, built on research and raw materials. Our desire today is to bring that same harmony into the rooms, ensuring that the hospitality of rest speaks the same language as our cuisine: a continuous dialogue between taste and well-being. Renovating was an act of care: the idea of extending the emotion of a dinner at Cascina Belvedì right into the night's sleep. We want our guests to find the same level of research and value in the rooms that they savored at the table, creating a seamless journey that naturally guides them from the first glass of wine at dinner to the morning coffee.
The luxury of space and privacy
The project was not limited to aesthetics; it aimed to enhance everyday well-being. We have introduced essential amenities such as a minibar and air conditioning, while expanding the volumes to give every space more breathing room. But the element that excites us most is the concept of privacy. We have always been fascinated by the idea that a guest can have a corner entirely their own, where they can simply sit and read a book in total serenity. For this reason, the rooms feature a private outdoor area. It is a detail that fundamentally changes how the property is experienced: having an exclusive piece of the horizon, an intimate space where the boundary between the room and nature blurs.
Today, staying at Cascina Belvedì means immersing oneself in a cohesive vision. It is not just about new furniture or enhanced comfort zones; it is about finally giving a home to the idea of hospitality we always envisioned.
